A packaging company based in Fish hoek in Cape Town is seeking a Financial and Admin Assistant to join their team. The South African operation is very small and therefore the successful candidate must be prepared to work in a small close learning environment.

Requirements:
Grade 12
1-2 years’ experience within a similar role
MS office knowledge
Good telephone manner
Fluent in English and Afrikaans will be beneficial

Duties and responsibilities:
Compiling of delivery notes and invoices
Answering of telephones, scanning of documents and filing
Arranging collections and deliveries with couriers
Communicating with customers and suppliers via email (outlook)
Compiling supplier PO’s on sageone
Reconciling stock monthly
Compiling spreadsheets on excel and maintenance thereof
Resolving queries from customers and suppliers
Debt collection and allocating of payments from customers
Reconciling supplier accounts
Receipting of stock on sageone
Extracting stock from bond and free store (Communicating with clearing agents)
Extracting, interpreting and converting reports from accounting system
